Samia has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2009 and has over 24 years of experience supporting individuals with autism, developmental delays and behavioral disorders. She also holds an International Behavior Analyst (IBA) certification and supports families worldwide.

 

Originally from the Seattle area, Samia attended the University of Washington where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She also attended the University of Washington for her Master’s degree in Education and Applied Behavior Analysis and completed her practicum in the Experimental Education Unit at the Haring Center for Research and Training in Inclusive Education.

She has held roles in leadership and training positions with multiple organizations located across Washington State, Texas, Louisiana and Northern/Southern California. Samia enjoys training others and the dissemination of ABA.

 

Samia founded Thrive Behavior Care with the goal to continuously improve on ways to provide high-quality and compassionate services for children and their families.    ​
