Our Approach
Our goal is to provide the best treatment for your child and the best support possible for your family.
You know your child best. We will work collaboratively with you to design a treatment plan that addresses the areas of support that your child needs and that are most important to your family. We work collaboratively with your child's treatment team including: pediatricians, teachers, Speech Language Pathologists, and other treatment providers. Our goals is to ensure an individualized evidence-based treatment plan that address the unique needs of your family and child. The strategies that are used to target goals on your child's treatment plan are unique to your child's motivations and needs. We utilize reinforcement-based strategies to encourage learning of new skills.

Our Services
ABA Therapy
Our team will work with your child 1:1 in your home, your child's school setting, in the community or remotely (online). After an assessment has been completed, we will identify your child's current levels and will create a unique treatment plan to address his or her needs.
Each program is overseen by a highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the BCBA may also be licensed to practice ABA. Additionally, a trained behavioral technician (BT) will work under the direction of the BCBA to implement therapy goals and teach new skills.

In the Home

The way therapy sessions are conducted in the home setting will depend on the needs of your child, his or her age and the needs of your family.
Home sessions aim to be incorporated into your family's routine and are designed to be naturalistic, compassionate and gentle. Therapy sessions are often comprised of child and adult-led activities and will incorporate your child's interests. Sessions can sometimes take place in community settings to target skills and teach behaviors needed for things like (but not limited to) safety, stranger danger, doctor's visits or grocery trips.
If your child requires additional support, sessions may be more structured. Your child's treatment plan will include areas to address language/communication skills, social skills, play/leisure skills, as well as self-help and adaptive skills such as haircuts, bathing routines, tolerating and more. The program will also include a plan to address challenging behaviors, such as aggression, self-injury, elopement and others, if necessary.
Parent Support
We offer individualized parent coaching and support with individualized goals to teach ABA strategies and techniques for parents to use outside of the therapy setting. This allows for consistency across settings and can empower parents to support their child in the progress towards their treatment goals. Parent support can be provided in person (e.g. in home or the in the community) or remotely. We can help with addressing things like toileting, feeding, bedtime routines, increasing independence and decreasing challenging behaviors, just to name a few. Our priority is to work on the areas that are most important to you and your family.

At School

Our team can work with your child 1:1 in the school setting to teach skills and behaviors necessary that will facilitate learning and independence at school. Our team will work collaboratively with school staff and service providers to provide training and/or support as needed.
Programs in the school setting are often structured to follow your child's regular routine throughout the school day. Your child's Behavior Technician will identify teaching opportunities throughout the day and will provide support to help your child meet his or her goals set forth in the treatment plan. Treatment programs in the school setting may target skill in the areas of language/communication, social or play skills, self-help/adaptive skills and may also work towards reducing challenging behaviors in the school setting, if needed.
Each program is overseen by a highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the BCBA may also be licensed to practice ABA. Additionally, a trained behavioral technician (BT) will work under the direction of the BCBA to implement therapy goals and teach new skills.
